Ten WHS Students Named 2026 National Merit Semifinalists
Wilton High School is pleased to announce that ten seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students took the fall 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test as juniors. Nationally, more than 1.3 million students took the exam and approximately 16,000 were named National Merit Semifinalists. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists represents less than one percent of United States seniors. These students have the opportunity to continue in the competition for Merit Scholarship awards that will be offered next spring.
Congratulations to Lilah Gettler, Arden Hamilton, Ryan Katz, Adrian Monin, Keya Patel, Polina Popova, Noah Sherrick, Meredith Sullivan, Miles Umerley, and Avner Wilson-Spiro!
